Less than halfway through our Daughters of Albion #1 Kickstarter campaign, and the numbers continue to climb! We’re still so grateful and humbled by the response, and want to do something for you as a way to express our thanks. That’s why we’ve been working hard to devise a range of stretch goals to reward our existing backers while enticing new ones to ‘join the investigation’.

We’ve already mentioned that we passed our first ‘secret’ stretch goal of £7.5k last week, which has unlocked our very special ‘DoA Launch Party’ for those at the Albion Collectors Package tier or above. This one-of-a-kind exclusive event will take place at a top-secret London location, and allow the Wild River team and backers to mingle while celebrating the project’s success. Fans will need to get themselves to London if they want to attend, but once you’re here you’ll get to meet the team and have your comics signed in-person.

If you can’t make it to London, then never fear – we’ve got you covered! We realise not everyone lives in the capital or can get here easily, so in that case we’ll get your comic signed by the team for you and send you some pics of the evening as well. This reward is only available to those at the Albion Collectors Package level and above, so now is the time to increase your pledge or sign up to get one of the last remaining slots. As of now, we have just FOUR Albion Collectors Packages left and ONE Superfan slot, so the quicker you get in, the better your chances.

Of course, we don’t want people at other tiers to feel left out, so we’ve introduced another ‘secret’ stretch goal, which just kicked in over the weekend when we passed £8k. We’re pleased to confirm that everyone at the Digital Edition (£5) tier will now also receive the three Hi-Res Digital Art Prints, making it an incredible introductory package – and for those who are able to go a little further and back one of our physical tiers, we’re adding an additional Hi-Res ‘Thank You’ Art Print to the mix – bringing it to FOUR Hi-Res Art Prints at the Standard Print Edition level and above.

These new ‘Thank You’ prints depict our DoA mascot Bee, formed by the names of each of our backers thus far. It’s the most obvious and direct way to say thanks, and it’s only available to existing backers or those who pledge to the project before midnight on May 10 (British Summer Time). That means you have just over a week to get in on this extra special recognition of the early backers of Wild River Comics and Daughters of Albion. As with the original offer, those at the Standard Print Edition and KS Exclusive Cover levels will receive their prints digitally, while those at the Albion Collectors Package level and above will receive them as physical prints.

But that’s not all … Stretch goals are no good if you’ve already unlocked everything, right? Which is why we’ve added something more for when we reach £10k. To celebrate double-funding (200% 0f our initial goal) we’ll add a dazzling foil treatment to the ‘Thank You’ print to make it something extra special – plus we’ll give the ‘Thank You’ print as a digital extra to those at the Digital Edition level, so everyone benefits. We can’t do any of this without you, and we want to reward those people who allow us to continue the good work.

Daughters of Albion (and the Wild River Comics line) is only just beginning – and the best truly is yet to come – so join us as we go further down the rabbit hole and explore this brave new vision of a futuristic London with Hashani and her friends. Until next time … stay wild!
